As a non-profit, the SPP relies in part on public support to enhance access to justice for individuals who participate in our programs, and combat anti-Black racism in the criminal justice system. Your generosity allows us to prepare enhanced pre-sentencing reports that are conducive to informed and culturally appropriate sentencing and release decisions grounded in goals of rehabilitation, and help participants navigate the complexities of the legal system which together, raise awareness and improve responses to systemic racism within the criminal justice system.
